Our Beaver Colony

Beaver Scouts are 6 & 7 year old boys and girls who like having fun and making friends.

They are the youngest members of the Scout Association and meet once a week in Colonies. Our Beaver Colony meetings are usually held in the Glen Llwyd Scout Hut during school term time.

  • Tuesdays 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
  • (Kanga’s Colony)
  • Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
  • (Wilma’s Colony)

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
